My writing life

With the end in sight for the publication of Electric Storm, I am busy updating the book's details on my website and payhip site, as well as Amazon, Kobo, and Google Play, ready for publication around October 20. I say that because, as mentioned in last month's newsletter, I am promoting Electric Storm first to subscribers of this newsletter. Barring any last minute issues, in any case, but then you'll be the first to hear about those, too.

The day job, for now....?

If you've come across my Author Bio you will know that I now work with an Assistance Dogs charity as coordinator for social therapy dogs, that provide emotional support for people in various stressful situations, such as: undergoing cancer or other serious medical treatment in hospitals and rehabilitation centres; lonely and isolated people in care homes; and in schools, to encourage introverted and under-confident children to read (out loud).
It's been a mad couple of weeks as I've been covering the rest of the country while my co-coordinator is on holiday, so I'm behind on dog photo's. Instead I'll introduce you to the newest member of my family. She's a year and a half old and a pure-bred border collie from England. She and I are learning all about the world of dog agility, which is my latest way of filling what's left of my spare time 😆 Check out how intense she's taking in a competition arena, which we visited for the first time recently. It's all very new and exciting 😁
