The days are getting longer and warmer and the lambs are out in the fields, it's got to be Spring! I had some great suggestions from my last newsletter for dog names 😄 This month I've got two more lovely dogs to introduce you to, and two new authors for you to discover.

The day job, for now....?

If you've come across my Author Bio you will know that I train guide dogs for the blind.

A few months ago I introduced you all you all to a little racehorse called Elske. She is still one of my darling guide dogs in training, but this month I’d like to show you a picture of two of her brothers. They are also guide dogs in training. I’m afraid that—once again—I can’t tell you their names because one of them is sponsored. But the name of every dog from the same litter starts with the same letter, so you can come up with your own two names starting with E for these two pretty boys.

I always love training multiple dogs from the same litter. It’s great fun to see the kind of traits that are dog specific, and which carry on through the entire litter. For example, Elske and these two boys all get this serious kind of look when they’re concentrating while doing the work. They lower their heads and tighten their ears a little when they know exactly what they’re doing and get really focused. And they all swing their tails wildly when they’re enjoying the work, too. I always have a tail bashing against my leg. A great signal to know they’re enjoying the work and doing what they’re meant to be doing!
